BSB: Linfoot itching for debut BSB win

1 of 1

Dan Linfoot is hoping his debut British Superbike victory will come soon after taking yet another two second places at Snetterton this weekend.

Now with five second place finishes to his name, Linfoot is itching to take the debut BSB win that has so far eluded him despite coming agonisingly close three times this season.

Losing out to team-mate Jason O’Halloran with a huge slide on the final corner of the opening race, Linfoot was visibly disappointed to finish second but was happy to look on the bright side as he boosted himself into an all-important showdown spot.

“I don’t want to sound disappointed with race one, I made a mistake but we came second and that’s more points towards my Showdown,” he said.

“Race two I’m happy with and to come second to Shakey at that pace I can’t really complain about it. I think we had an equal pace and if I’d been on the back of him I would have been able to make a move, with a bit of bravery. I am starting to believe now that I am good enough to win races and we’re nearly there, I just need some luck on my side and I’m sure it will come soon.”
