Honda’s Jason O’Halloran shrugged off a late crash to top the timesheets on an interesting first day of the fifth round of the 2016 MCE British Superbikes at Snetterton.

Having enjoyed a positive test at the Norfolk circuit three weeks ago, the Aussie comfortably led the way in the day’s only dry session.

Danny Buchan made a huge step forward with the Lloyds British Moto Rapido Ducati to come within a tenth of the Honda man, with fellow young gun Luke Mossey third.
