BSB: Ray: 'Clearly it wasn't my weekend'

After a stunning start to the 2018 season, things came crashing down around Bradley Ray at Snetterton with a double DNF after two identical crashes in each of the weekend’s races.

While the Buildbase Suzuki star undoubtedly had the pace to run at the front, he twice lost the front at Agostini’s when it mattered, handing vital points to title rival and double winner Leon Haslam.

“It clearly wasn’t my weekend… the first crash I can take, shit happens but to do the same thing at the same corner in the second race has really pissed me off,” Ray told MCN after the race. “The team seem to think I might have hit the engine case on the left….

“This isn’t ideal for the championship, but it’s important not to let this get to me, it’s a long season and as long as we stay in the top six then we’ve still got a chance. We had the pace, so it’s nice to know we’re quick at each track we go to.”
