BSB: VisionTrack Ducati line-up confirmed as provisional 2021 entry list is revealed

Josh Brookes and Christian Iddon will both remain with the VisionTrack Ducati team for the 2021 Bennetts British Superbike season.

The Paul Bird Motorsport squad’s decision was revealed this afternoon when championship organisers MSVR revealed the provisional 2021 entry list.

Brookes clinched his second BSB title in the season finale at Brands Hatch after overcoming the challenge of fellow Australian Jason O’Halloran. Brookes ended his campaign with five race wins, five further podiums, and a series lead of 21 points.

2021 will mark Brookes’ third season with the VisionTrack Ducati team and he’ll go into the new year as the title favourite given his record on the V4 R. Brookes ended the 2019 season as runner-up to teammate Scott Redding.

Meanwhile, Iddon enjoyed an excellent maiden campaign with the PBM team and ended the season third overall. Iddon secured his first-ever BSB victory at Snetterton and was really consistent throughout the year with another seven podiums.

Iddon finished second in all three races at Oulton Park and carried that run on into the opening race at Donington Park.

The provisional 2021 entry list also revealed that Dean Harrison will return to the series with Silicone Engineering Kawasaki, whilst Josh Owens remains with CDH Racing Kawasaki.

Honda Racing UK and Buildbase Suzuki (Hawk Racing) have not yet revealed their rider line-ups; however, it’s expected that Glenn Irwin will remain at Honda. Other teams yet to reveal their 2021 riders include Lee Hardy’s RAF Regular & Reserves Kawasaki, Team 64 Motorsports Kawasaki and HRP.
