BSB: Colin Appleyard Yamaha seek new title sponsor for 2021

Quadruple British Supersport champions Colin Appleyard Yamaha are on the lookout for a new title sponsor following the departure of Tysers (formally Integro).

The Official Yamaha UK BSS team, run out of the Colin Appleyard Motorcycle and Car group, has dominated the class for the last four seasons, securing the rider’s crown with Keith Farmer, Jack Kennedy (2) and Rory Skinner.

Skinner was unstoppable in 2020, winning 10 of the 12 races. In doing so he became the youngest-ever champion in the 32-year history of the championship. The only rider able to get close to the Scot was his teammate Brad Jones, who ended the campaign second overall. The team also clinched their 50th victory in the Supersport class.

Tysers/Integro have been title sponsors of the Appleyard team for the last seven years.

“2020 has been a historic year for us as we sealed another 1-2 in the British Championship for title number four and took 50 wins, all with a difficult backdrop but the team stayed focused,” team owner Robin Appleyard said.

“We’ve had great support from Tysers over the years and appreciate all of our supporters, but we have the potential to really give a brand a great return on investment through the team and wider commercial opportunities.”
