FS-3 Racing has joined forces with Cheshire Mouldings in a deal which sees the latter become the team’s new title sponsor in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship.

Cheshire Mouldings, established in 1988, is the UK’s largest manufacturer of wood mouldings and stair parts, and already has a presence in both World Superbikes and BSB. The company is a sponsor of Kawasaki’s official WSB team, whilst it also supports riders in the British support classes.

‘’We are thrilled to be sponsoring FS-3 Kawasaki,” Managing Director John Carney said. “At Cheshire Mouldings we strive to be the best in everything we do which is why a partnership with this top British Superbike team is a perfect fit for us. We look forward to having our brand associated with FS-3 and can’t wait to see our logo on the track soon.”

The FS-3 Racing team has made a great start to the 2022 season, with the team returning to winning ways for the first time since 2019. Lee Jackson sealed his maiden victory at Oulton Park, whilst teammate Rory Skinner has collected two podiums from the opening six races.

Skinner currently sits third in the championship standings heading into round three of the season at Donington Park, 16 points behind leader Bradley Ray. Meanwhile, Jackson is fifth overall, only six points further back of his teammate.

Both riders will be hopeful on making the Showdown based on their starts to the season. Danny Buchan finished fourth for the team in 2019 and as the nearest challenger to the dominant Ducati V4 R that campaign.

Following the arrival of Cheshire Mouldings, the team has updated its livery to include company logos. Cheshire Mouldings branding can be found in several places on the Kawasaki ZX-10RR, and in the team garage.

“Success in motorsport really is a team effort,” FS-3 Racing Team Principal, Nigel Snook added. “We are delighted to be going into partnership with John and the team at Cheshire Mouldings who have a deep understanding of how it all works. Together, we aim to keep up our challenge for podiums finishes, race wins and championship success.”
