Max Cook will make his Quattro Plant British Supersport Championship debut at Brands Hatch this weekend.

Cook, who clinched the Pirelli Junior Superstock title at Donington Park will race a Yamaha YZF-R6 in the season finale. Cook has dominated the 2022 junior class, winning nine of the 11 races held so far. He finished second in the other two races.

As a reward for his efforts, Cook tested a Cheshire Mouldings FS-3 Racing Kawasaki Superbike at Donington Park earlier this month. Cook is supported by the team and is also mentored by team boss Nigel Snook.

Cook’s Supersport bike at Brands Hatch will feature a special livery from Binch Racing sponsor, UGGLY & Co and Carl Cox Motorsport. There will be a QR code on the bike for Cox’s new album, Electronic Generations’.

Cox commented “I would have loved to have been at my local circuit Brands Hatch this weekend, but this is the next best thing, helping young Max show his talents on the next stage of his journey. We’ll be watching and cheering the TV from our Shows!”

Previously, Cook has competed in the Junior Moto3 World Championship – where he took the lap record away from Fabio Quartararo at Portimao – as well as the Red Bull Rookies Cup. Cook became British Superteen Champion in 2015, as well as British Moto3 Champion in 2017.

Cook has been linked with a move to the Supersport class in 2023, whilst he’s also been linked with a potential jump to the Superbike class – a rumour which will no doubt intensify following the announcement that Rory Skinner will move to the Moto2 World Championship next year.

Elsewhere at Brands Hatch, Pro83 Academy rider Harrison Crosby will make his debut in the Pirelli Junior Superstock Championship with Synergy Racing.
