THE biggest GP of the year will now act as the final round of next year’s world championship.

Valencia, which attracted over 200,000 fans over three days this year, will now be held on November 3 having swopped dates with the Rio race in Brazil.

Rio will now be held on September 21 after the Portugal GP in Estoril on September 8 and will kick off a series of flyaway races with Motegi, Sepang and Phillip Island all being held in October. All other dates previously published remain the same with the new four-strokes going head-to-head against two-stroke 500s for the first time at Suzuka, Japan, on April 7.
