Biaggi busts records for Brno pole

Max Biaggi became the first man to crack the sub-two minute lap at Brno today to snare pole position in Sunday’s Czech MotoGP.

His time of 1:59.646 was fractions faster than Daijiro Kato on the Gresini Honda RCV V5, with world champion Valentino Rossi in third.

A stunning ride by Garry McCoy means will lead the two-stroke charge from the fourth and final place on the front row on the Red Bull Yamaha.
