2005 MotoGP dates

The provisional dates for next year’s MotoGP season have been announced, with the new US round of the championship taking place in July without the 250 or 125 bikes present.

Next year’s season will run from April to November with new rounds in the US and China. Only one date is still undecided with the April 17 round taking place at either Jacarepagua, Brazil or Welkom, South Africa.

2005 MotoGP calendar:

April 10 – Jerez, Spain

April 17 – Jacarepagua, Brazil or Welkom, South Africa

May 1 – Shanghai, China

May 15 – Le Mans, France

May 29 – Mugello, Italy

June 5 – Catalunya, Spain

June 19 – Donington, UK

June 25 – Assen, Holland

July 10 – Laguna Seca, US (MotoGP only, not 125 or 250)

July 24 – Sachsenring, Germany

August 28 – Brno, Czech Republic

September 18 – Motegi, Japan

October 1 – Losail, Qatar

October 9 – Sepang, Malaysia

October 16 – Philip Island, Australia

October 30 – Estoril, Portugal

November 6 – Valencia, Spain
