Hayden quickest at Valencia tests

Honda’s Nicky Hayden was fastest at the MotoGP tests in Valencia over the weekend.

The test brought together Honda, Ducati, Suzuki, Aprilia and Proton with Kurtis Roberts getting his first ride on the 2004 Proton. That ride lasted less than a lap before he crashed, the bike caught fire and he dislocated a shoulder. He got some time on the 03 bike before the crash of the 04 bike, recording a best of 1.36.8.

Hayden’s 1.33.3 was a tenth of a second faster than Ducati’s Loris Capirossi.

Troy Bayliss, also on a Ducati finished the day third quickest.
