Fabrizio replaces Byrne

Michel Fabrizio will replace Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne on the Aprilia RS Cube this weekend at the Portuguese GP.

Englishman Byrne is currently recovering from a dislocated wrist and is hopeful to return for the Japanese round on September 19.

The team have completed two days of private tests with Fabrizio at the Mugello circuit before announcing the decision to run the young Italian at Estoril. Fabrizio has spent the 2004 season riding the WCM machine.
