KTM's junior GP team

KTM will field a Junior Team in the 125cc GP championship in 2006, to run alongside the official works team of Mika Kallio and Julian Simon.

The KTM Junior Team will consist of Austrian Michael Ranseder and German Stefan Bradl. Both have raced as wildcards in the 2005 125cc championship, with Ranseder taking 12th in Catalunya, Assen and Germany. Bradl is the son of former 250GP racer Helmut Bradl, and claimed 16th place in Germany.

Both rider swill compete for the full 2006 season under the management of Dieter Stappert, who has worked with riders including Ralf Waldmann and Jeremy McWilliams.

The first tests for the Red Bull KTM Junior Team are scheduled to take place in Spain at the end of January, 2006.
