The 125 and 250cc classes have begun testing at the Catalunya track in Spain, with Britain’s Chaz Davies setting the 15th fastest time.

The 125cc riders began testing yesterday, Wednesday March 16, and finished their two-day session today, Thursday March 17. Mattia Pasini posted the fastest time with 1:51.538, just ahead of Thomas Luthi, Marco Simoncelli and Gabor Talmacsi.

The 250cc class began testing today, with Andrea Dovizioso recording a time of 1:47.148. Daniel Pedrosa went second quickest but faced carburetion problems with his Honda. Sebastien Porto was third quickest, with Randy De Puniet the only other ride to drop below one minute 48 seconds. Britain’s Chaz Davies was 15th quickest with a 1:49.758.
