Edwards tries road tyres

Michelin fitted a set of road tyres to Colin Edward’s 260bhp Yamaha M1 at the recent Sepang test and got within eight seconds of MotoGP pace.

Edwards did 5 laps on the new dual-compound Pilot Power 2CT tyres at the blazing hot GP circuit and managed to lap just a short time off his best 2005 race time.

MCN even got to randomly choose the standard road tyres from the stack ourselves.
