Pasini tops 125 test

Mattia Pasini has topped the second day of 125cc GP testing at the Jerez circuit in Spain.

The day saw good weather and numerous crashes, including Ranseder, Rodriguez, Bradl, Conti, Di Meglio, Zanetti, Masbou, Abraham, Pasini, Simon and Hernandex, with the most serious injury being a hand fracture for Bradl

Second fastest was Lukas Pesek, who was fastest on the first day on his Derbi Racing bike. Meanwhile Michele Pirro is unlikely to race in the opening race of the season at Jerez following a big crash on the first day which saw him disloacte his ankle.

The 250s are there from Wednesday and the MotoGP teams start their testing on Friday and wil continue on Saturday and Sunday.

LCR Honda rider Casey Stoner will miss the test, as he did the Catalunya test, while he recovers from injury. He does expect to be fit for the first race at Jerez on March 26.
