Bradley Smith gets works Aprilia offer

1 of 1

Bradley Smith has been offered a factory Aprilia ride in the 2008 125cc world championship.
The 16-year-old, one of the brightest British prospects for a generation, has been approached about signing for the Aspar team run by former world 125 champion Jorge Martinez.
Smith’s future in the Repsol Honda squad run by Alberto Puig is uncertain, with Puig poised to switch to KTM machinery in 2008. The Spaniard as yet has been unable to offer Smith a concrete plan for next season while Martinez has already submitted an offer to the Oxfordshire rider.
A third place in Le Mans made Smith the youngest British rider in recent history to claim a world championship podium.

You’ll be able to catch up with Bradley Smith this weekend as he will be a live studio guest on Eurosport.
