MotoGP Sepang test: Kawasaki new boy John Hopkins takes top spot on day two

Kawasaki’s John Hopkins was the fastest man on day two of the Sepang MotoGP test.

The former Rizla Suzuki rider recorded a best time of 2:02.200 at the Malaysian circuit with his former team-mate, Chris Vermeulen second with a best of 2:02.344.

Britain’s James Toseland was 11th fastest with his best time of 2:04.278 on what was a much better day for the Tech 3 Yamaha rider.
