MotoGP Poor Value

I note with great interest the comments made by Valentino Rossi regarding MotoGP being boring.

I have been involved in all forms of road racing for the best part of sixty years, travelling all over the world to support bike racing, and without doubt Moto-GP as stated by Valentino has become boring to watch (125s and 250s excepted).

For fans to travel too Moto-GP and watch three races one, of which has only eighteen riders, plus the occasional incidents in the first couple of corners, plus tyre and mechanical breakdowns, together with the disparity of the machinery, produces boring races. And unless some changes are made fairly rapidly support from sponsers and spectators will gradually diminish.

Some suggestions to bounce around:-

1. Have two races for each class, it works well in WSB and BSB

2. More riders on competitive machines

3. Grid reversals,(handicaping) look how exciting the racing is when Rossi has a poor grid position, and it also gives everyone a chance.

4. Support races? 600/900s Proddies?

5. Modern Classic Race/series (50/60/70/80s).?

6. Bring back the sidecars? But whatever is decided we need a full race program and value for money as in WSB and BSB which are by far and away the best racing series in the world today.
