Motegi MotoGP: Stefan Bradl takes 125GP victory

German Stefan Bradl has taken only the second ever win of his career at Motegi ahead of pole man and championship leader Mike Di Meglio.

Nicolas Terol got the holeshot in to the first corner where, in the middle of the pack Espargaro, Marquez and Aegerter collided after Espargaro high-sided. Then at the end of the first lap a further free riders fell in Rabat, Iannone and Van Den Berg after Iannone crashed.

Bradl then led from the second lap through to the halfway stage before Mike Di Meglio pushed him aside to go first.

Bradl, Di Meglio and Talmacsi then pulled away from the rest of the riders to fight it out for frst spot, with each rider leading te race at some stage.

Bradley Smith was in eighth place and catching Cortese in sixth when he crashed on lap 17.

On lap 18 Stefan Bradl made a decisive move to go first which saw him stay at the front for the remaining two laps and take the win.

Scott Redding and Danny Webb finished eighth and tenth respectively.
