No third factory Honda for Jorge Lorenzo

Honda has rubbished the prospect of expanding its factory MotoGP line-up to three bikes in 2010 to prise Jorge Lorenzo away from rivals Yamaha.
New HRC President Tetsuo Suzuki confirmed that Honda would continue to run Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso in its factory team, ending the possibility of a dramatic swoop for Lorenzo.
Suzuki said: “At present there is no possibility for this.”
He also confirmed that part of the failure to conclude a deal with Lorenzo had been based on financial grounds, suggesting that Pedrosa and Dovizioso were cheaper options.
Suzuki told MCN: “It is true that it was a financial matter but we came to the conclusion that the current line-up would be the best for us.”
