Spanish and European Supersport champion Kev Coghlan is racing in Spain again this year with the title-winning Joe Darcy team – but is switching to ride in the national Moto2 championship on a British-built FTR Moto.

The 21-year-old Scot has already tested the FTR and told MCN: “We’ve only had limited testing so far but I’ve had enough time on it to see that it really is great piece of kit!

“The chassis feels like it has the potential to annihilate the Supersport bike and it is a really exciting project to be a part of.”

Coghlan is also hoping to line up some World Championship Moto2 wild card rides woth the Joe Darcey this year.

Full story in today’s MCN (Wednesday).
