Indy MotoGP: Marquez steals pole from Corsi

125GP champion Marc Marquez stole pole from Simone Corsi by one thousandth in the dying seconds of qualifying at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Andrea Iannone completes the front row in third place.

Brit Bradley Smith narrowly missed out on the front row, the Tech 3 rider will start tomorrow’s race from thr front of the second row in fourth. Thomas Luthi and Mattia Pasini complete the second row.

With less than 20 minutes to go, Brit Scott Redding set the fastest lap, but a flurry of riders almost immediately moved the Suter rider down to 10th. Redding was unable to improve and will start from 11th on the grid.

Current championship leader Stefan Bradl has struggled at Indianapolis. The Kalex rider will start the race from 22nd position.
