Paul Bird MotoGP machinery up for sale

1 of 1

Fancy owning a unique MotoGP bike that Michael Laverty and Broc Parkes scored world championship points on during the 2014 premier class campaign?

Now you have the chance after Cumbrian businessman Paul Bird decided to sell machinery raced against the likes of Marc Marquez and Valentino Rossi.

Irish racer Laverty scored points in three races on the PBM bike last season, which included a best of 12th in searing heat at the penultimate round in Sepang.

And Aussie Broc Parkes finished inside the top 15 in four races and his best result was an 11th in a rain-hit Assen clash. Bird decided to end his three-year stint in MotoGP at the end of 2014 and is now selling four PBM machines, which include the bespoke British-built chassis that Bird developed to take on the might of Honda, Yamaha and Ducati.

As well as the four PBM machines there are two Aprilia ART bikes available, as well as pit, garage and workshop equipment up for sale. The PBM custom-built race truck is also on the market.
