Assen Moto3: Marquez takes second successive victory

Spaniard Alex Marquez took his second successive victory in the Moto3 race at Assen ahead of team-mate and compatriot Alex Rins.

Portugese ride Miguel Oliveira completed the podium in third place onboard the Mahindra Racing machine.

Championship hopeful Jack Miller crashed early in the race, with Romano Fenati also crashing out but remounting to finish in 18th place outside the points.

Despite the crash Miller remains at the top of the championship standings, with Fenati still second.

Danny Kent rode a strong race to finish eighth onboard the Red Bull Husqvarna machine, with John McPhee crossing the line in 10th.
