Crutchlow signs two year LCR extension

Cal Crutchlow has become the latest rider to have his future confirmed with the Englishman remaining with LCR Honda for the next two years.  Crutchlow stood on the podium in Argentina and has had plenty of promising performances this year but having ridden the Yamaha and Ducati in the last two years continuity was clearly important for the 28 year old.

Speaking recently with MCN Crutchlow made no secret that his priority was staying on the Honda but over the last month there has been discussions held with other teams and manufacturers.

With the deal confirmed today Crutchlow said:

“I am very happy to continue my relationship with LCR for 2016 and 2017. Lucio has a fantastic team and I look forward to growing further with them and with Honda. We started the season well and I believe we can score some great results in the rest of this year and in the season to come.”
