ITV have confirmed that they will once again show MotoGP highlights for the 2015 season. The channel is expected to broadcast something similar to their 2014 coverage, with an hour long highlights show on the Monday following a GP weekend.

With BT Sport initially announced as the exclusive channel for GP coverage, the terrestrial broadcaster’s announcement came as a huge relief to many fans this time last year.

In a statement to industry blog F1 Broadcasting, ITV confirmed that they are showing “both the Motorsport UK [weekly round-up programme] and the MotoGP coverage.”

The Grand Prix coverage reinforces the channel’s laurels as the home of motorsport on terrestrial TV, joining MCE British Superbike and Isle of Man TT coverage.
