Zarco on pole with Rabat and Lowes struggling

Moto2 championship leader Johann Zarco claimed his third consecutive pole position by leading the way in qualifying ahead of tomorrow’s German Grand Prix. Zarco, who has won three times from pole this season, was also given the added bonus of seeing his closest title rivals, Tito Rabat and Sam Lowes, qualify sixth and ninth fastest respectively.

After the session Lowes told MCN that despite the grid position he was still confident in his pace during the race. With the track conditions having changed markedly compared to yesterday Lowes was hampered in the opening sector of the lap and struggled for front end feel.
