After seeing the rain play havoc with team’s schedules for today’s test in Montmelo both Yamaha and Suzuki will decamp to Aragon to test later this week. Yamaha will test on Tuesday with Suzuki using the circuit for Wednesday and Thursday.

This morning in dry conditions Aleix Espargaro had a big crash when testing new parts and afterwards he commented that it was unfortunate to have had the aaccident whne using the parts and that they had been destroyed . He was confident that they would work on those parts in Aragon.

“I lost the front, but a lot faster than yesterday,” said the Spaniard. “We are looking at what happened. I didn’t feel grip during the weekend in that corner. Yesterday’s crash was very different, the bike was completely stopped, and today I was very fast. But the thing is that the test was finished from then, it started to rain. I’m happy because now we move the whole team to go to Aragon and we will be able to ride again, and try not to crash in Aragon.”

With the team moving westwards towards Aragon Maverick Vinales said that his plan would be to work on his riding style this week to ” to improve my riding style, if I can with the gas, I can be more constant and more fast, so just try to learn.”

Yamaha had planned in advance on testing in Aragon due to the changeable conditions but lost out on completing any running today due to the rain.
