Lorenzo fastest, Dovi crashes

Jorge Lorenzo was fastest in this morning’s 20 minute MotoGP warmup session with the Spaniard leading the way from Andrea Iannone and Dani Pedrosa. The action behind however was far more interesting with Andrea Dovizioso and Cal Crutchlow both crashing.

Dovizioso crashed while waving to fans in the grandstand with the Italian getting changed from his leaders immediately once back to the pits and not setting a time in the session. Crutchlow crashed at Turn 4 but the LCR Honda rider was still able to set the seventh fastest time and finish within four tenths of Lorenzo.

As has been the case on numerous occasions this year Valentino Rossi looks to have some performance on race day morning with the Italian fourth fastest.
