Marquez misses out on QP2

Marc Marquez will have to make it through QP1 this afternoon after finishing outside the top ten in the combined times from the first three practice sessions. Marquez missed out by nine thousands of a second with Scott Redding also set to battle with the Open bikes in the opening qualifying session.

Jorge Lorenzo was hugely impressive to set the pace by four tenths of a second from a horde of Ducati’s with Iannone, Dovizioso and Pirro in the top four. Cal Crutchlow and Bradley Smith also made it through to QP2 automatically.
