Rabat on pole, Zarco on front row

Tito Rabat took the 15th pole position of his career at Aragon with the world champion setting the pace ahead of Alex Rins and Johann Zarco. Sam Lowes will start from fourth on the grid after overcoming a crash halfway through the session.

The Speed Up rider lost the front at the final corner and said afterwards “I was losing the front for ages and just couldn’t catch it but my pace has been mint all weekend and my ideal time today was as good as pole position. I think that we’ll be there tomorrow and I can fight for the win.”
