Rabat sets the pace in Misano

Tito Rabat, Johann Zarco and Alex Rins look set for a thrilling battle for pole position at Misano after the trio finished final practice comfortably faster than the rest of the Moto2 field. Rabat, winner here last year, took the honours as fastest but with one tenth of a second separating the top three it’s clear that anything could happen in qualifying.

Hafizh Syahrin was an impressive fourth fastest after setting his best time on his final lap. The Malaysian was however fast throughout the session.

Lorenzo Baldassari and Sam Lowe both had crashes during the session with the Italian finishing seventh fastest and Lowes 12th fastest but within one second of Rabat.
