MotoGP Picture Special: Vinales makes Yamaha debut

Maverick Vinales took his first run out as a Yamaha MotoGP rider as the 2017 pre-season test got underway in Valencia this morning. Waiting a little before heading out, Vinales put in his first laps around 11am local time.
He was instantly within a second of the fastest time set by Repsol Honda's Marc Marquez. He managed to improve his time to be within 0.3 of the World Champion, until new team-mate Valentino Rossi upped the ante at the front.
