The Team City Lifting KTM duo of Jake Archer and Tom Booth Amos, who currently sit first and second in the British Motostar championship, will take to the grid at this year’s British Grand Prix for a wildcard appearance in the Moto3 world championship.

The pair have dominated Motostar this season, taking eight wins out of nine races so far in the domestic championship, and Booth Amos says the wildcard is a dream come true for him.

“Since I was a kid I’ve wanted to compete in MotoGP and now my dream is coming true. I cannot wait to get there and see how I get on against the world’s best Moto3 riders. I’m not expecting miracles but I’ve got an idea of where I’d like to be.”

Archer echoed his teammates sentiments as the squad go into this weekend’s Brands Hatch round of the Motostar series seeking to extend their championship lead even further.

“I am really looking forward to the event I cannot believe I am getting this opportunity; it’s going to be a massive learning experience but I am ready for it. I cannot thank City Lifting and the team enough for setting this up.”
