It was once again a strong session for the Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS team with Alex Marquez third quickest ahead of the second KTM of Brad Binder.

Dominique Aegerter was fifth quickest on the Kiefer Racing Suter with Mattia Pasini rounding out the top six.

Ricky Cardus was seventh ahead of Marcel Schrotter and Francesco Bagnaia while Malaysian rider Hafizh Syahrin rounded out the top ten.

Tarran Mackenzie led the way out of the British duo on track in 32nd, ahead of wildcard rider Jake Dixon who was taken to the medical centre after suffering his second crash of the weekend as he continues to learn both the Valencia circuit and the Moto2 machine.
