MotoGP: Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing reveal bright 2024 livery

The stunning Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team 2024 MotoGP livery has been revealed during a special presentation in Riccione, Italy.

The team’s new look sees the front of the Ducati Desmosedici GP23 decked out in fluorescent yellow (Fluo Stream), which has become iconic alongside team owner and MotoGP Legend Valentino Rossi.

The yellow fades into white for the majority of the bike, with a red banner along the side fairing representing new title sponsors, Pertaminia Enduro. Black Ebay branding is also present, as is Monster Energy along the bottom of the fairings.

The neon livery was brought to life by highly respected designer Aldo Drudi, who designed most of Rossi’s helmets during his illustrious career.

“In 2024 we will be to the track with the livery designed by Aldo Drudi who revolutionized the graphic soul of the team with the inclusion on the livery of our fluorescent yellow DNA,” Alessio Salucci, Team Director, said.

“The best hope for starting this new adventure. From a technical point of view, with Ducati we have the best available package on the grid and Marco and Fabio are very fast. I know we’ll have fun!”

On the track, Marco Bezzecchi will once again ride for his mentor’s team and look to build upon a competitive 2023 campaign in-which the Italian finished third overall. Bezzecchi won three GP races and collected a total of seven GP podiums.

Bezzecchi had an option on the table to join Pramac Racing for this season and ride a GP24 as a result, but he opted to stay put and continue his relationship with the VR46 squad.

“It will be my third season in MotoGP, and I am happy to be to the track once again with the same crew at Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team and riding a Ducati,” Bezzecchi said.

“I would like to do something similar to what we did in 2023: be competitive, consistent, get on the podium and have good races. I also really like the new livery, completely different, something that has never been seen in MotoGP.

“I expect a hard-fought Championship, of the highest level and with many strong riders and bikes. We can do two things: have fun and try to being among the protagonists.”

Bezzecchi has a new teammate this year following the departure of Luca Marini to Repsol Honda. Fabio Di Giannantonio takes Marini’s seat after a stunning end to the 2023 season saw him secure his maiden MotoGP victory.

It was a last-minute move for ‘Diggia’, who lost his ride at Gresini Racing Ducati to Marc Marquez. Di Giannantonio, like Bezzecchi, will ride the GP23 this season after spending 2023 onboard the 2022 Ducati.

“I’m really excited, I can’t wait,” Di Giannantonio said. “For me it is the first year at Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team: we met at the Valencia test at the end of the year, when we tried the Ducati package that we will use this season and the feelings were immediately positive. We have a great potential to achieve our ambitions.

“The livery is crazy, you can notice it on and off the track. Wearing this yellow is a great honour for me. It will be an interesting start, there have been a lot of changes in terms of the line-up, riders, and bikes. We all have to get settled, but it will be a great show!”

Bezzecchi and Di Giannantonio will return to action at the Sepang Test on February 6-8. This is followed by the two-day test in Qatar on February 19-20, with the season opener scheduled for March 8-10 at the Lusail International Circuit.
