The Aspar Ducati squad of Eugene Laverty and Yonny Hernandez will sport a striking new livery for this weekend’s Sachsenring round of MotoGP, as clothing brand Pull&Bear comes onboard as title sponsor for the weekend.

Replacing Power Electronics for the weekend, the monochromatic scheme coincides with the two riders heading to nearby Dresden last night to open the firm’s latest store.

And team boss Jorge Martínez says that while the deal is nice for the team, it’s also an important linkup for the sport as it links up a young target demographic for both brands.

“This collaboration is the source of huge satisfaction for the team. For them to focus on our team and a series like MotoGP, to take that step to be main sponsor for the German Grand Prix, is a great honour.

“We have been working together for several years. This sport is part of a young world, it fits perfectly with the Pull&Bear demographic. This is great news for us and at the same time it is a great responsibility. But we hope to reward them with good results.”
