Ian Lougher has switched his race team from Yamaha to Kawasaki for the 2010 season on the roads and on short circuits.

He will run the team under the banner of Team Blackhorse Kawasaki.

The experienced roads man will race at the North West 200, TT, Ulster GP and Oliver’s Mount Kawasakis in the superbike, superstock and supersport classes.

Lougher will also run an official two rider team in the National Superstock at British Superbike meetings.

Lougher has won ten TTs, eight NW200 races, 14 Ulster GP races and said: “Kawasaki have a long association with Blackhorse and the Kawasakis are great machines for superstock and other classes.

“The base packages have already proved themselves admirably and now it’s down to me and the team to turn this potential into even more Kawasaki podiums.”
