Where did Potter go at the TT?

1 of 7

This year was my 18th year at the TT and second year as a marshal (not bad for a 21 year old).

Along with my dad and friends we marshalled at Windy Corner. Fortunately we saw no major incidents except having to deal with an unfortunate ITV camera assistant who fell and twisted his ankle jumping over a wall into a prohibited area.

On two occasions we were in the right place at the right time. We saw Loris Capirossi arrive at the Suzuki Lorry with a group on enduro machines and we somehow were the final group of people to meet Lorenzo and Nieto.

We were impressed with the MotoGP machine in the hands of Cameron Donald. Did nobody tell him he had to wait for Marc Potter? By Windy Corner, Donald was about five minutes ahead of him and we were packing up our gear because we thought he had retired!
