Dutch racer dies at Manx GP

Dutch Manx Grand Prix newcomer Dennis Hoffer has lost his life during a crash during last night’s practice for the Manx GP on the Isle of Man. The forty-two year from Hoogkarspel crashed at the Thirteenth Milestone, bringing out the red flags in the session.

An event spokesman said an investigation is under way into the circumstances of the crash and that the Coroner of Inquests has been informed.
