James Hillier to take H2R to TT course

Isle of Man TT racer James Hillier will take to the famous 37.73-mile course on Kawasaki’s new supercharged H2R as part of a special parade lap at this year’s TT.

Joining World Superbike champion Tom Sykes and WSB points leader Jonathan Rea, the Bournemouth Kawasaki rider, one of the few riders in the exclusive 130mph Club at the TT, Hillier will ride the ferociously loud machine during Wednesday’s race day activities.

“I’ve seen the road going Ninja H2 at Bournemouth Kawasaki where the Quattro Plant team is based but this is something else altogether. I can’t wait to hear the sound echo around the first part of the course and then let it rip up the mountain mile – it’s going to be a mega experience!”

However, he won’t be the first rider to take one of the 300bhp machines around the famous circuit, with MCE British Superbike racer Chris Walker taking to the track on Saturday as part of the RST parade lap on his own H2R machine.
