1 of 1

Former Manx Grand Prix Senior race winner Andrew Soar has died following a crash during today’s Senior TT at the Isle of Man TT. He was killed following a crash at Keppel Gate during the final race of this year’s TT.

Andrew took the step up to the TT last year, following in the footsteps of the likes of Ryan Farquhar as Senior winner following a 2012 debut on the Mountain Course where he finished as runner-up in both Newcomers and the Senior race.

Winning the blue-riband race in 2014, he enjoyed strong results in his debut year at the TT in 2015, setting solid lap times en route to top forty finishes.

Motorcycle News joins the TT organisers and the wider racing paddock in passing our deepest condolences to Andrew’s friends, family and fans.
