TT 2016: Rossi keen to return to the TT

Nine-time MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi says he’s keen to return to the Isle of Man TT for a second look at the historic event.

The Movistar Yamaha racer last visited in 2009, completing a parade lap alongside MCN editor Marc Potter and fellow world champion (and TT winner) Giacomo Agostino.

“I got an opportunity to go in 2009 and to see it for the first time, and also a great opportunity to make a lap too. It was great – a fantastic opportunity, and I loved it! I want to go back to for sure, but I didn’t have time this year with the schedules. Not this year, but in the future I’ll be back for sure.”

Rossi has also remained in contact with John McGuinness since his last visit to the TT, catching up with him last year for a reunion at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
