TT 2018: MCN's Adam Child to compete in TT Zero

1 of 1

MCN’s Senior Road Tester Adam Child will return to the Isle of Man to compete in the TT Zero for the second year running. Adam will once again be competing on a bike supplied by MotoCorsa, based in Gillingham, Dorset.

Child made history at the TT last year when the team completed the first ever lap of the 37.73-mile mountain course on a road legal production electric motorcycle and went on to finish sixth in the race.

Last year’s MotoCorsa machine was a 258kg electric bike with very few alterations. The number plate and headlights were removed for safety reasons; other than that it was a completely standard road bike. This year the team have reduced weight and gained valuable help from K-Tech suspension.  The team know they won’t be battling for a win, but hope to improve on last year’s time and further highlight what is achievable on a standard road bike.
