Petronas admits Sauber is off Foggy project

Rumours that the Foggy Petronas racing team is no longer using Sauber to continue developing its bike have turned out to be true with the appointment of replacements, Swiss firm Suter Racing Product.

The Petronas engineers who were working with Sauber Petronas Engineering (SPE) will now move en masse to the SRP camp to continue developing the race engine and the road bike.

So far no reason has been given for Sauber’s departure from the project. But as soon as we have more on this story we’ll bring it to you.
