Walker WILL ride in WSB opener

Chris Walker is looking better and will ride in Sunday’s opening WSB round in Valencia, Spain.

Walker still has partial facial paralysis as the result of a bout of Bells Palsy and is struggling to blink properly. But, he said on Thursday afternoon, he is going to race and will give it his best shot.

Factory Kawasaki rider Walker has been undergoing intensive treatment to overcome the illness, including acupuncture.

Since reports of his illness in MCN and on motorcyclenews.com, a series of experts have stepped forward to offer advice to help him overcome it.

It’s clear from his features that the treatment is improving the condition.
