Walker breaks leg in Supermoto race

Chris Walker has been diagnosed as having a broken ankle and tibia of his left leg after crashing out of a supermoto race in Mettet, Belgium at the weekend.

He was due to start testing with his new GSE team in the next few weeks alongside James Toseland, who also competed in the event.

Walker apparently slid off going into a left turn and and wrenched his left foot when it becam entangled in the tyre wall.

Walker’s boss at GSE Racing, Colin Wright, told MCN: ” We’ve talked to the doctors and they’ve told us Chris will be fit in about four to six weeks. We fully expect to see him testing with us on the HM Plant Ducati in December. ”
