BBC won’t show WSB live on Sunday

The BBC will not be showing Sunday’s WSB round live. Instead all we’ll get is highlights on BBC 2 at 11:55pm.

If you want to see it live you’ll need access to Eurosport which will show the races from 11 am.

Bike fans are losing out because the BBC had an earlier commitment to Rugby League, Rugby Union and World Indoor Championship Athletics this Sunday afternoon.

The Corporation blames WSB organisers for a late switch in the date of the opening round. By the time the change had been made it was too late to change previous arrangements to cover other sports.

Live WSB will be back on the Beeb for the next round at Philip Island on March 30.
