MV Agusta has given the strongest hint yet that it will race in the World Superbike championship.

The company plans to race the F4 1000 in the German Superbike championship and the European Superstock championship but the riders from both teams will also be involved in the development programme for a WSB spec F4.

The company also said that if the development on the bike went well then we can expect to see it popping up at WSB rounds this year as a wildcard entry.

Jorg Teuchert, who has already won a German superbike race on the F4 (see related article, right), will be running an F4 1000 with the MV Agusta Deutschland team in the German championship while Vittorio Iannuzzo will run the bike with Team Gimotorsports in the Superstock championship.

Team Gimotorsports has already tested the bike at Valencia while Teuchert is waiting till January to take the bike round the Spanish track.
